Timmy – 2 Year Old Male ACD

Timmy is a petite mix of cuddles, personality and Tasmanian devil. At just 14 pounds, this 2 year old boy is easy to pick up and snuggle but can still run with the big dogs. He has abundant energy and would probably have fun with some light agility training; he is food motivated. He does enjoy the yard with his foster sisters and brother, but hangs out on he couch inside during his down time. While he’s still learning dog, he takes correction easily from his person or 5 pound chihuahua sisters. [...]

Maisie – 1 year old Female ACD

What do we say about Maisie? This girl is full of vim and vigor and is beautiful, don't you think? Maisie has just returned from doggie boot camp, where she has learned to be a calmer, and sweet young lady. She did very well with her trainers who absolutely adored her. Maisie loves, loves, loves humans and she is good with other calm, respectful dogs. Very pushy, reactive dogs are not her cup of tea and she can become agitated if exposed to them but can be easily redirected with a treat a [...]

Willow – 5 Yr Old Female ACD

“They call her Mellow Willow . . .” Quite right! Willow is a super chill, mellow girl who loves nothing more than cuddling with her people. This 5  year old girl is a super love bug, probably one of the most chill ACD’s we’ve ever had.  She walks nicely on a leash, and is equally happy hiking with you as she is hanging on the couch after, watching a movie. She is a real ‘velcro’ dog, sticking very close with her people, i.e. she’s not a runner.  She gets along with other dogs but really prefers [...]

Baby Irene – 1 Year Female ACD *ADOPTED*

Baby Irene is a sweet, young girl who was dealt a bad hand for a time but has come through her earlier life experiences well. She absolutely adores her person ( the one she picks) and will seek out attention readily. She is cautious with new dogs in her life but once properly introduced to a dog that is calm and stable, will settle right in to interact and play constantly. She does not do well with a dog that is dominant as a result of her previous life experiences. She will benefit greatly from [...]

Adelaide – 1 Year Old Female ACD Mix *ADOPTED*

Hi there! My name is Addy and I am just about a year old. My foster family says I’m a cattle dog mix, but I’m not real sure what that means. I love to play with my three foster brothers, even when they are not interested in playing back! My foster mom sometimes calls me a pest, whatever that is. A nice man found me hiding in the cemetery in Tucson and gave me to a very nice lady to try to find my original people. I don’t know what happened to them or where they are, and I was really missing them [...]

Presley is a 2-4 year old female cattle dog. She weighs about 31 lbs. Presley arrived into rescue with one of her babies, and we know she had at least three. Her time in her foster home has been an absolute joy for her foster family. She had not done one thing wrong. Presley is super affectionate and loving. We feel she may have possibly been an indoor girl at some point as her manners are impeccable. She’s proven to be trustworthy in or out of her crate overnight in my room. She lives with 4 ot [...]
