Meet Terra.  She’s an awesome little two-year old Australian Cattle Dog mix with a  heart of gold and a true love of her people. She is a bit submissive until she gets to know you, but warms up quickly. She is amazing with other dogs, both big and small.  She is also great with cats and simply ignores them.  Kids are her favorite, so she’ll latch on to them and give them all the love they can handle.

Terra is potty trained, knows basic obedience commands and actually enjoys hanging out in her crate when she’s resting.  She is energetic, but easily directs the energy into unsuspecting chew toys, rather than furniture or belongings. She’s also quite content just to hang out and nap for a while.

Terra loves traveling with her people, is a joy to camp with and does well on and off leash.  She has great recall if she strays a bit further than expected.  Terra will do best with an active family with children. If other dogs are already in the family, we recommend the other dogs be active, as well, because Terra loves to play.

The first step to meeting any of our dogs is to submit an application. It in no way obligates you to adopt, it is simply part of our process. If the dog you are interested in is adopted before you can meet them or if we do not currently have a dog you are interested in we still encourage you to go through the approval process. Then you will be pre-approved and ready to adopt when a dog does come along that you are interested in.
