Purdie is six months old. She came into the foster home as a quiet shy girl and it has taken her some time to come out of her shell. We don’t think she had the best of start in life with humans as she is leery with new people. But once she sees you are OK, she will let you grab a quick pet or will let you rub her belly. Purdie loves to play with all her foster dogs. She loves playing in the kiddy pool and water is a whole lot of fun for her. Hasn’t quite learned to bring ball back or really doesn’t care much for toys. She is doggy-door-trained and potty-trained. She loves to sleep at the base of the bed on the floor on a comfy blanket. Although her one ear doesn’t stand upright, it has gotten better, but that is what gives her some charm. She isn’t much for being a lap dog or doesn’t really care to be held. Purdie is a little shy when meeting new people but she will go up to them when she is ready. Do not know how she is with cats, but she is used to being around foster homes many animals (horses, steers, donkeys). She would do best in a home with other dog siblings as she loves to play and is submissive to the pack leader.

Purdie is housebroken and fully vetted. She is currently located in Waddell, AZ.

The first step to meeting any of our dogs is to submit an application. It in no way obligates you to adopt, it is simply part of our process. If the dog you are interested in is adopted before you can meet them or if we do not currently have a dog you are interested in we still encourage you to go through the approval process. Then you will be pre-approved and ready to adopt when a dog does come along that you are interested in.
