“All my life I’ve been searching for something

Something never comes, never leads to nothing
Nothing satisfies, but I’m getting close
Closer to the prize at the end of the rope”
Dave was a stray in Nogales and wasn’t doing so well finding his own groceries. He thought maybe he was on the “long road to ruin” but luckily ACDR said no.. you’re coming with us! Dave exclaimed, “My hero!!”
He’s gained 7 pounds in foster care, and he’s very appreciative of his new found fortune!
Dave is sweet, loving, and very attached to his person. Despite likely not living indoors at the beginning of his life, he’s a perfect gentleman inside.
Dave weighs about 45 pounds now and should gain about 8-10 more.
After his “breakout” from the Nogales shelter, Dave was neutered and vaccinated. He gets on very well with with his 3 foster siblings too.
Dave will be available at the end of March, following his last vaccines.

The first step to meeting any of our dogs is to submit an application. It in no way obligates you to adopt, it is simply part of our process. If the dog you are interested in is adopted before you can meet them or if we do not currently have a dog you are interested in we still encourage you to go through the approval process. Then you will be pre-approved and ready to adopt when a dog does come along that you are interested in.
