Moss is a very active and athletic young man. He would make anyone a great running or biking partner as well as water sports as he loves to swim too.
Moss will need an ACD savvy home as he is not only active but has some of the social cautions many ACDs have. He is slow to warm up to strangers but is getting better every day. New people coming to the house is his toughest challenge but with the proper time and guidance he does well. He is good meeting people on the trail and in the neighborhood as long as they don’t immediately try to invade his space. He is a work in progress and is so eager to please that he’s been a quick study in his current foster home.
Moss has done great with his foster siblings both big and small as long as they are not too pushy. He loves to play chase and wrestle and will play ball with everyone too. He does well also meeting others on the trail again, as long as they aren’t too pushy. He will recall to your side so you can help communicate to others that he’s a bit shy and needs his space. We don’t think Moss would do well with kitties or small kiddo’s as he can be sensitive to quirky and erratic energies.
Moss can be very snuggly and enjoys his family very much. He’s got quite the goofy side too! He enjoys car rides and adventure is his number one priority! He’s a great pal and with continued confidence building and intentional leadership there won’t be a place Moss can’t go.
Moss is housebroken, crate trained and fully vetted. He is currently located in Flagstaff, AZ

The first step to meeting any of our dogs is to submit an application. It in no way obligates you to adopt, it is simply part of our process. If the dog you are interested in is adopted before you can meet them or if we do not currently have a dog you are interested in we still encourage you to go through the approval process. Then you will be pre-approved and ready to adopt when a dog does come along that you are interested in.
