Missie (Mistletoes) is a 2 year old ACD/Border Collie (maybe Kelpie) mix. She is a high energy girl who needs a job and exercise. She would love an active home-someone to go running, biking, rock climbing, or hiking with. She does not currently show any toy drive or fetch interest. Missie knows how to use the doggie door and is house and crate trained. She stays around nicely off leash and her leash manners are improving every day. She wants to greet every person on walks.  She is working on her doggie manners because she has a high herding instinct and herds the dogs in her foster home. She rubs her body on the furniture like a cat and leaps in the air excitedly when it’s mealtime. Given her high herding drive, she would probably do best with older children and she has not met cats yet.
Fostered in Sierra Vista, AZ.

The first step to meeting any of our dogs is to submit an application. It in no way obligates you to adopt, it is simply part of our process. If the dog you are interested in is adopted before you can meet them or if we do not currently have a dog you are interested in we still encourage you to go through the approval process. Then you will be pre-approved and ready to adopt when a dog does come along that you are interested in.
