Miss Maddy is such a sweet, soft soul! You’d think she was a bruiser with her build and gangly manners but inside she’s “pretty in pink, ALL girl” There’s not a mean bone in her body, she loves everyone in her home! However she is still getting used to meeting new people, they can be scary, but if they are patient and calm she’ll soon be covering them with kisses too!

Maddy came to us with one eye that had succumbed to glaucoma. Once removed her personality blossomed! She became silly, animated and very playful with her furfriends. She requires a drop daily in her other eye to keep it healthy. She will need a pressure check once a year at her annual checkup. We do not forsee any real issues with the eye as long as it is monitored annually and she continues to receive the drops.

Maddy will need a home who is patient and who can continue her confidence building. She loves to go on the trail and is great off leash as well as on. We are not sure how she would do with very small kids or cats but we’re willing to meet some. Maddy would LOVE to have a playful furfriend in her new home. She likes to wrestle, is a kissy face and enjoys cuddling with her furfriends. She is also respectful of her foster friends who don’t want to do any of those things with her.

Maddy is attentive, a quick learner and has SO much sweet lovin to give! You can’t help but fall in love with precious girl!

Maddy is housebroken, crate trained and fully vetted. She is currently located in Flagstaff, AZ.

The first step to meeting any of our dogs is to submit an application. It in no way obligates you to adopt; it is simply part of our process. If the dog you are interested in is adopted before you can meet them or if we do not currently have a dog you are interested in, we still encourage you to go through the approval process. Then you will be pre-approved and ready to adopt when a dog does come along that you are interested in.
