He’s a big boy with a big heart looking to live the big life!  If you keep an eye out, you will probably see him soaking up attention at farmer’s markets or winning hearts out and about in downtown Tucson. Gus is the kind of dog that will go absolutely anywhere with his family with a big goofy smile on his face. He is showing an aptitude towards learning tricks and manners very quickly. He has already proven himself to be a very well behaved hiking partner and he is in training to be a running and biking buddy too! He would do best in a home that could provide him a decent amount of exercise and continue with his training. He would make a great family dog and has behaved himself very well around small kids. He is super playful around other well behaved dogs but doesn’t tolerate disrespectful ones.

The first step to meeting any of our dogs is to submit an application. It in no way obligates you to adopt, it is simply part of our process. If the dog you are interested in is adopted before you can meet them or if we do not currently have a dog you are interested in we still encourage you to go through the approval process.
