Missie (Mistletoes) is a 2 year old ACD/Border Collie (maybe Kelpie) mix. She is a high energy girl who needs a job and exercise. She would love an active home-someone to go running, biking, rock climbing, or hiking with. She does not currently show any toy drive or fetch interest. Fireball is the most reserved pup here. He took the longest to warm up to his foster mom, but now attaches to her the most intensely. Very shy with new people, but also very intent and curious. Beef is the boldest of the three pups. He's the first to the food bowls or to the edge of the yard to check out some happening there. He is the leader and he is friendly with people and dogs. She's very smart and loves to be with her people. Jules gets along well with other dogs, but prefers dogs about her size or smaller as playmates. She has lots of energy and would do well in an active home and with other dogs who like to play. She has not been around small children, but we think her activity level would probably be best with a little older children. Juliette has not taken much interest in cats while out in the world, but it is unknown how she would do with them in a household env [...]

Moss is a very active and athletic young man. He would make anyone a great running or biking partner as well as water sports as he loves to swim too. Moss will need an ACD savvy home as he is not only active but has some of the social cautions many ACDs have. He is slow to warm up to strangers but is getting better every day. New people coming to the house is his toughest challenge but with the proper time and guidance he does well. He is good meeting people on the trail and in the neighborhood [...]

Sadie is one sweet little girl!! She is still very young at heart and LOVES to play with her toys, her foster sister and kids. Cats are very interesting to her and the cat in her foster home is very dog savvy so a kitty who isn’t might find her scary. She loves to play so much it is hard for her to concentrate at times when it’s learning time so her education continues slowly but steady. Skipper came to us out of the shelter with a sever gimp in his back leg. After x-rays we discovered he had an old fracture near the femoral head which would be hard to fix but his body was already beginning to heal in an acceptable position. It was decided that we would wait 6weeks and look again to see if Skipper would be able to keep his leg or not.   Rio is quite the spectacular girl! She’s high energy and LOVES the water. Her favorite game is to chase the hose. Her foster mom reports that every time she goes outside she’ll bark at the hose so you’ll play the game. Rio has a strong personality and will need a breed savvy home.
