Are you looking for a project? A sweet, cute, headstrong, athletic project? Well, have we got the project for you! Meet Ginger. She is a beautiful red stumpy mix who loves people (once she has been able to perform the sniff test, that is!), adores other dogs and loves to play from dawn to dusk. She is just a year old and in her previous life she was not required to tow the line behavior wise. She can be rude and did we already say headstrong?
We do not recommend that she goes to a home with children under the age of 12 as she poses the risk of knocking a small child over in her exuberance. She can jump up from the floor to touch your forehead before you even know she has thought of the idea. She is in no way malicious, she is just a “teenage Heeler” that has never known boundaries.
She is smart as a whip and she can jump a low fence like a gazelle in the woods and keep going. She is currently in a foster home with a 6 foot block wall and she has never attempted to go over it.
She loves to play with her foster brothers (there are three of them)and she is not an alpha type pup. She loves water and has the potential to be a distance diver for someone interested in training her in that vein. Agility could also be in her future if that’s your thing.
She is fully vetted, house trained and crate trained and ready for her next great adventure. What do you say? Are you up for this challenge? If you think you are, the fist step is to fill out an application…….

The first step to meeting any of our dogs is to submit an application. It in no way obligates you to adopt, it is simply part of our process. If the dog you are interested in is adopted before you can meet them or if we do not currently have a dog you are interested in we still encourage you to go through the approval process. Then you will be pre-approved and ready to adopt when a dog does come along that you are interested in.
