Hello world! My name is Cooper, and boy do I have a story for you. Last year, I was in this great relationship with a gorgeous redhead. We were young, on the run, and loving it. Turns out, we uh, had a few buns in the oven. She didn’t want a life for our pups on the streets and well, me neither. We are still just pups ourselves! We decided to turn to ACDR and get our lives back together for our little family. She and the kids are off doing great in their new homes. I’m so happy for them, really I am. But, now it’s my turn to adopt a family. My foster mom tells me I’m really something special with lots to offer, and I’m starting to believe her. Just so you know, I’m totally done having kids. Hung up my studs for good, thank you, and I just so happen to love being submissive.
Enough about the past; let’s talk about what I’m doing these days according to my foster mom: I’m just a big, 66 pound, sweet, friendly, handsome, goofball of a marshmallow who is ready to snuggle up to another warm dog in the house or lay across my people’s feet. My foster sister dog (she’s the boss) is my current main squeeze, but she’s happy to share me with her brother and my foster people. We frequently have friends over, and I just adore new visitors. They all love me too. I have never met anyone furry or human whom I didn’t like or couldn’t get along with. They say I’m an absolute “prince” in the house, but when I’m on my leash, that’s when the music stops. I can heel like nobody’s business, and I am so well-behaved that people stop to compliment my foster mom. Psst, I was professionally trained on the leash, but my home-making skills came naturally: not messing in the house, not chewing up anything that isn’t already mine, and not excessively barking for no reason. I’m also extremely playful and love to romp with other dogs.
That’s me in a nutshell, but I’m happy to share more details with the right family. Would you like to meet for coffee?
Cooper is fully vetted, crate trained, housebroken, and fostered in Mesa, AZ

*Cooper will need a family who understands the needs of strong bully breeds and who can help him continue working on his social graces. He has lived well with a female dog but has shown to be pushy/dominant with males and unknown dogs. Cooper’s social graces continue to improve everyday however he may never be a “dog park dog”. Cooper has been fabulous with every type of person he’s met!!
Cooper is housebroken, crate trained and fully vetted. He is currently located in Phoenix, AZ

The first step to meeting any of our dogs is to submit an application. It in no way obligates you to adopt, it is simply part of our process. If the dog you are interested in is adopted before you can meet them or if we do not currently have a dog you are interested in we still encourage you to go through the approval process. Then you will be pre-approved and ready to adopt when a dog does come along that you are interested in.
