Hawkins is just a tad over 1 yr. His birthday is 11/8 and he is a LOVE!
He is an active boy that benefits from stimulation especially exercise. But he also settles really well, and is content to just chill with his family.
He would EXCEL at dog sports if that’s your thing.
Hawkins does great with the other 5 dogs in his foster home. He “can” be protective of his food with dogs, but we have no issues now with just being aware and managing. His start in life was locked in a small run with a littermate, so this is not surprising.
Hawkins also participated in a local board and train program and did great. That training will transfer to his new family as far as learning what he’s learned
Hawkins foster family loves him and realizes he needs a more active lifestyle. He still thinks he is a puppy 🙂
Hawkins is fostered in the Cave Creek/Carefree area. He is UTD on vaccines, house trained and is neutered.
The first step to meeting any of our dogs is to submit an application. It in no way obligates you to adopt, it is simply part of our process. If the dog you are interested in is adopted before you can meet them or if we do not currently have a dog you are interested in we still encourage you to go through the approval process. Then you will be pre-approved and ready to adopt when a dog does come along that you are interested in.
