Sassy is a roughly 15 month old blue ACD.

Sassy came to us about 7 months ago, abandoned by her owner, and being cared for by a kind lady.

She was adopted right away by a great family.

Sadly, that family had a very tragic event, and Sassy was reluctantly  returned.

She is a perfect little girl. Initially quite unsure of her surroundings, she will settle in nicely. She LOVES women, and is little unsure of men.

Patience with Sassy at first, is crucial.

She is desperate to bond and be someone’s everything.

She is housetrained, she sleeps on our bed as she did at her previous  home and doesn’t make a peep (unless you count snoring)

Sassy should probably be placed as a single dog, or with a male. She lives with 5 other dogs now, with 3 females and it’s just fine. She just had some incidents with other females going after her. And she’s so submissive and sweet, it just wasn’t fair to her.

Sassy needs her forever home. She’s been through a lot, and deserves to be settled in for life.

Sassy is UTD on vaccines and spayed.

She is being fostered in Carefree Az.

The first step to meeting any of our dogs is to submit an application. It in no way obligates you to adopt, it is simply part of our process. If the dog you are interested in is adopted before you can meet them or if we do not currently have a dog you are interested in we still encourage you to go through the approval process. Then you will be pre-approved and ready to adopt when a dog does come along that you are interested in.
