Willow is a super sweet and gentle young girl. She is gentle and patient with toddlers. She likes to play all the time and can be a little pushy when trying to get her foster sister to play. She backs off quickly though when it is made clear this is not the time for playing. She is learning quickly what toys she can and can’t play with. Willow will chew on just about anything she can get her mouth around, so don’t leave her alone with your favorite pair of shoes just yet. Willow will go into a crate but likes to sleep on a bed at the foot of your bed.
It has became apparent that Willow wasn’t taught much earlier in her life but she is eager to learn. She has learned to sit to get food and treats. Willow is very good on leash when out for walks. She has not been let off leash yet since she is still rather timid when being called for. Willow is still very much a puppy and gets distracted by smells and sounds. Willow would do well as an only dog as she likes to snuggle alot once she warms up to you. She would be just as happy with a sibling that would play with her and teach her the rules of the house.

Willow Barkely is housebroken, crate trained and fully vetted. She is currently located in Flagstaff, AZ

The first step to meeting any of our dogs is to submit an application. It in no way obligates you to adopt, it is simply part of our process. If the dog you are interested in is adopted before you can meet them or if we do not currently have a dog you are interested in we still encourage you to go through the approval process. Then you will be pre-approved and ready to adopt when a dog does come along that you are interested in.
