So, how do we spell adorable? T-i-n-s-e-l Tinsel is just the most adorable little man you will ever meet. He is a Dachshund (we think) in a heeler suit. Tinsel got his name for the way he came into rescue. He was apprehended while happily playing with the blow-up Santa in a front yard along with his mother.

He is just the cutest, sweetest little guy with his little legs and his long body. He is energetic and happy as the day is long. He has never met a dog he doesn’t want to play with and he is curious but respectful of the resident house cat at his foster home. He loves to cuddle with his foster folks. He is smart as a whip and knows how to climb out of his playpen to explore if you’re not paying attention to him. Everyone should have some sparkle in their life…. Tinsel is sure to deliver!

Tinsel is 50% housebroken, crate trained and will be full vetted after February 19th. He is currently located in Rio Rico, AZ.

The first step to meeting any of our dogs is to submit an application. It in no way obligates you to adopt, it is simply part of our process. If the dog you are interested in is adopted before you can meet them or if we do not currently have a dog you are interested in we still encourage you to go through the approval process. Then you will be pre-approved and ready to adopt when a dog does come along that you are interested in.
