Shay was found dragging his leash through a Paradise Valley community. Though he had the support of an entire neighborhood working tirelessly on his behalf to locate an owner, no one came forward to claim him. So, ACDR stepped up to help this boy find his way to a brighter future!

He is about a year old, fully vetted,  neutered and loves people! He is fully housetrained as well as crate trained. He is currently being fostered with 3 cattle dog mixes and two senior small dogs. He plays with the other cattle dogs with gusto, and generally ignores the small dogs. H has not been exposed to cats that we are aware of.

Shay is a true gentleman. He knows commands, will lightly tap you with his paw to seek attention, takes treats gently and loves to snuggle with you for a nap on the couch. He also enjoys playing with Tatum and his foster siblings. His foster mom says that Shay is an old soul, as he is quite calm for a pup, and very gentle with people. Shay weighs 30 pounds and is likely fully grown.
