Meet Tater, Sweet Tater.  Sometimes Liz Tater, Tater Swift or Tater Tot.  A nicer girl you will not find, her foster family adores her.  Tater is a great companion and lap dog; she loves her people but isn’t overly clingy.  She gets along fine with her foster brothers and sister, big and small.  She has especially enjoyed a couple of puppy playmates recently.  We believe she is 6 or 7 years old but still very active.  Tater may be a little low to the ground, but jumping up on the couch is no problem for her and that’s where she prefers to lounge.  Tater’s favorite activity is lap time while watching TV.  She likes to go for walks and does nicely on a leash.  In her previous home she lived with a cat and a small boy but would do great in an adult home as well.  She is dog door trained and rarely barks.  She loves to have her head kissed.  Tater even trims her own nails (so they won’t put holes in those white socks she’s wearing).  She is fully vetted and available now.  Tater is fostered in Mesa.

The first step to meeting any of our dogs is to submit an application. It in no way obligates you to adopt, it is simply part of our process. If the dog you are interested in is adopted before you can meet them or if we do not currently have a dog you are interested in we still encourage you to go through the approval process. Then you will be pre-approved and ready to adopt when a dog does come along that you are interested in.
