Is a bit shy at first but very sweet. He’s cautious about his surroundings so he’ll need a bit of patience and lots of love to feel comfy. This sensitive lil boy just wants to please his people so positive reinforcement is key. Sonny loves his comfy couch where he’s always the first to fall fast asleep.

He has grown up with his 8 other siblings and his mama, Olive. He has lived his life indoors with his family which includes men, women and children. He enjoys playtime every day in the backyard with other dogs, cats, goats, and a pig. He is not potty trained (through no fault of his own. With 9 puppies I haven’t tried) so he’ll require a bit of help from his furever family to teach him.

Sonny will be fully vetted and available for adoption on April 30^th. He is currently located in Flagstaff, AZ

 

The first step to meeting any of our dogs is to submit an application. It in no way obligates you to adopt, it is simply part of our process. If the dog you are interested in is adopted before you can meet them or if we do not currently have a dog you are interested in we still encourage you to go through the approval process. Then you will be pre-approved and ready to adopt when a dog does come along that you are interested in.
