I’m Smiley, and if you want to meet me, you need to guess how I got my name. Ha ha, just kidding. I’m that kind of goofball. Though I won’t usually flash my pearly whites until I get to know you, I still keep a smile on my face most of the time. Why shouldn’t I be happy? I love playing, snacking, smiling, dancing with excitement, other dogs, people, and snuggling. I like to wear a jacket when it’s cold, and I especially like laying or sitting on shag carpet. Oh, how I love carpet. I’m not obsessed with tennis balls like my foster brother. Maybe if he didn’t hog them, I’d be more interested, but I’m still a youngster and learning. I’m pretty much a go-with-the-flow kind of pup, and so when my foster brother and sister do things, I try to follow in their paw steps and let them show me the ropes. I guess you could say I’m submissive. I’m really getting the hang of this leash thing too! I’d rather just walk beside my foster mom nicely which she loves. Most importantly, I make spreading happiness my priority – so I will fit in with any pack, and all types of humans who can keep up with me. I must have been a comedian in a previous life, because I love to entertain and bring a smile to my humans’ faces.

I’m crate-trained, fully house-trained (A+), and will be fully vetted on Feb 21st. He is currently located in Mesa, AZ .

The first step to meeting any of our dogs is to submit an application. It in no way obligates you to adopt, it is simply part of our process. If the dog you are interested in is adopted before you can meet them or if we do not currently have a dog you are interested in we still encourage you to go through the approval process. Then you will be pre-approved and ready to adopt when a dog does come along that you are interested in. Apply at www.arizonacattledogrescue.org
