Supai is a very cute, loving, and cuddly blue cattle dog.  Supai is such a great partner.  He loves to hike, play, cuddle, go on road trips, hang out at home, watch Netflix, and swim.  His name is Supai because he has a beautiful blue color like the Havasupai waterfall in The Grand Canyon.

Supai is very healthy, knows how to sit/come/go, is house broken, he is very food motivated (great for training), walks very well on a leash, and knows how to “go kennel” (he is kennel trained).  His family for the past 3 years is moving away from the USA and will be traveling through Europe and Asia in the upcoming years and sadly cannot take Supai with them.

Supai would do great as the only dog in a household but also has lived with 3 other dogs before who he loved.  He does not like stranger/new dogs (like stranger dogs on a walk) but after going on a long walk with a new dog friend he always warms up to them.  He gets a little anxiety when meeting new or stranger dogs for the first time but the best way to introduce him to new dog friends is to go on a long walk together then feed them a big dinner afterward!

Supai is great as an outdoor friend and also as a cuddly lap dog.  He weighs about 30 pounds and is ready to be adopted to a wonderful family!

Supai is housebroken, crate trained and fully vetted. He is currently located in Tempe, AZ.

The first step to meeting any of our dogs is to submit an application. It in no way obligates you to adopt, it is simply part of our process. If the dog you are interested in is adopted before you can meet them or if we do not currently have a dog you are interested in we still encourage you to go through the approval process. Then you will be pre-approved and ready to adopt when a dog does come along that you are interested in. Apply at www.arizonacattledogrescue.org
