Ridley, aka Mamas is a very elegant and agile ACD mix. She looks like she has some greyhound in her and is very quick. She needs a special adopter however due to her special social issues. Mamas takes a bit longer (days not hours) to warm up to people as she is fearful and tentative, sometimes she will aggressively bark, but does not follow through with any aggression. She needs a very calm, peaceful home where she can feel safe and her family understands her social needs. Small children or a busy household would not be a good fit for this special girl.

She is a good watch dog, and she is very good with cats, chickens, and other small animals. She does best with other confident dogs around to take the attention and pressure off of her, so at least one other confident furfriend would be nice. She is very sweet once she gets to know you, and enjoys short bouts of playfulness and cuddles on the couch.

Mamas will most likely never be an outgoing, social dog, but give her time and she will be a snuggler and great friend for that special someone.

Ridley/Mamas is housebroken, crate trained and fully vetted. She is currently located in Tucson, AZ.

    

The first step to meeting any of our dogs is to submit an application. It in no way obligates you to adopt, it is simply part of our process. If the dog you are interested in is adopted before you can meet them or if we do not currently have a dog you are interested in we still encourage you to go through the approval process.
