Say hello to Riley. Isn’t she pretty? Look at her ring tail. It is awesome to behold. Riley is a 5 ½ year old ACD. She has been nothing but sweet in her foster home with all the male dogs and with her foster peeps. She can be a bit snarky with other female dogs but can be easily redirected to more appropriate behavior. We would recommend that she goes to a home with experienced ACD owners who understand the breed characteristics. She would not be a candidate for a first time ACD owner. She is currently living with a house cat and is very respectful of the old lady. She is living in a home currently with 6 other foster pups, male and female and is getting along very well with everyone.

She is a complete ball freak and will bring a tossed ball back to you all day long so, unless you are already a major league baseball player with a killer right arm, we would recommend you purchase one of those sport launcher ball toss things so you can keep up with her. She is fully vetted, crate trained, walks like a dream on a leash, and is house trained. She is calm and quiet inside and out and is not prone to barking at everything that goes by the fence or comes to the door. She is currently residing with her foster family in Rio Rico, AZ.

The first step to meeting any of our dogs is to submit an application. It in no way obligates you to adopt, it is simply part of our process. If the dog you are interested in is adopted before you can meet them or if we do not currently have a dog you are interested in we still encourage you to go through the approval process. Then you will be pre-approved and ready to adopt when a dog does come along that you are interested in.
