Are you looking for a bit older girl? One that is active and yet calm, cool & collected? Our girl Zooey may be the perfect buddy for you. Zooey is 8 1/2 years old, weighs in at 47#, long tail, bright smile & perky ears. She is a quiet companion, would not be considered a ‘barker’ although will alert you, loves to follow wherever you go & is great on vehicle rides.
She loads w/out a fuss & enjoys the time with you. Zooey will sit nicely for treats & leaves no left-overs from her meals for another K9 house mate.
Her home going forward will not have any children as residents and an adult dog best fit for her. Not sure of cat interaction in her past. Zooey is living in NE Mesa with 3 other dogs.
The first step to meeting any of our dogs is to submit an application. It in no way obligates you to adopt, it is simply part of our process. If the dog you are interested in is adopted before you can meet them or if we do not currently have a dog you are interested in we still encourage you to go through the approval process. Then you will be pre-approved and ready to adopt when a dog does come along that you are interested in.
