Betty was a wonderful surprise! She was just hanging out at the shelter when our President went to pull another dog,and there she was! So she was scooped up and brought into our fold.
Betty is about 4-5 yrs old, and she is deaf.
She is very attached to her person, so she’s never too far away to see your hand signals. She loves everyone!
She’s highly intelligent, and learns very quickly. She gets along just fine with the three dogs in her foster home. She does get a little possessive of her person if another dog tries to sneak in on her cuddle time. But she’s easily redirected and she’s never mean about it.
She goes right to her crate at bedtime and sleeps through the night, not a peep.
She is the BIGGEST cuddle bug ever.. she can’t get enough attention, and will direct your hand with her nose to her body.
She’s not overly fond of being left behind. She does fine in a sturdy kennel, but can be vocal about her displeasure.
Betty Spaghetti is spayed. The vet feels she did have some little meatballs in her past life.
She is UTD on vaccines as well.
Unknown how she might feel about cats.
The first step to meeting any of our dogs is to submit an application. It in no way obligates you to adopt, it is simply part of our process. If the dog you are interested in is adopted before you can meet them or if we do not currently have a dog you are interested in we still encourage you to go through the approval process. Then you will be pre-approved and ready to adopt when a dog does come along that you are interested in.
