Say hello to Concho! A real gentleman, Concho likes nothing more than quietly curling up on his blanket and hang with his people. But don’t let that low key demeanor fool you, this boy is a natural born athlete-whether catching a ball in midair, or making Frisbee catches like you’ve never seen, Concho is the star of the dog park. A little shy and gentle, he takes a while to come out of his shell, but once he does, he is loyal as the day is long. Watchful and almost spooky smart, Concho reflects true cattle dog curiosity. Concho can use a doggie door, climb stairs and is neutered, and ready for his forever home. Ideally that home would involve people who will give him the interaction and play he needs, whether hiking, playing ball, Frisbee or even agility, balanced with quiet time just hanging out. Concho is currently in a foster home in Tempe, where he ignores the resident chickens. He gets along with other dogs, but has never been around cats or small children. He is also great in a leash walk.
