Cruz is a 3-4 year old boy. Weighing about 45 pounds. He is fostered near Carefree Az.
He is very attached to his person. He has lived with various other dogs and gets along well with everyone. He’s learning indoor manners very well. He was likely mostly an outdoor dog, but is fully enjoying being inside. At some point he did learn some basic commands like “sit” and “shake”
He was picked up in Nogales and was a well known guest with Animal Control. Neutering has stopped his wayward wandering. He now just wants to be with his family.
He has a lot to say, when being played with! He loves the attention! He likes to chase birds, but he’s a bit of a dork. He can’t catch them. He crates nicely at bedtime but if invited on the bed, he’s all in!

The first step to meeting any of our dogs is to submit an application. It in no way obligates you to adopt, it is simply part of our process. If the dog you are interested in is adopted before you can meet them or if we do not currently have a dog you are interested in we still encourage you to go through the approval process. Then you will be pre-approved and ready to adopt when a dog does come along that you are interested in.
