Hi there, I’m Laverne and I’m the really cute one, even if I do say so myself. My foster mom thinks we’re both equally precious but what does she know! I am actually the shyer of the two of us. I kind of like to lay back and see where the interaction is going to go before I decide to come out and meet people. I love to be held though once I get settled in and I’ll just cuddle up to you if that’s ok.

“We’re gonna do it our way” because it’s the cowdog way!

Hi there, we’re Laverne and Shirley! We play nonstop from morning until night and sometimes we argue, like over who is going to control the supper dish. Nothing drastic mind you, just some pushing and shouting going on occasionally just like sisters do. We love to play with other dogs but we can be a little pushy since there’s two of us and only one of them! I promise we will get better with our manners, honest.

We’re both working on housetraining because our foster mom says it’s about time we learned! We did learn that it’s not nice to mess up our crate during the night and we have been just awesome at that for about a month already! We are also very quiet and respectful at night so my foster family can get some much needed shut-eye!

We are still puppies and we still do all of the puppy things that make us cute, and frustrating, and funny, and all that. We adore toys, knocking over our water dispenser, and tearing up the newspaper if we can get our teeth on it. Speaking of teeth, we still have our sharp little velociraptor teeth! Our foster mom says we’re ready to rock and roll. Hope to meet you soon!!!

Lavern is 75% housebroken, crate trained and fully vetted. She is currently located in Rio Rico, AZ

The first step to meeting any of our dogs is to submit an application. It in no way obligates you to adopt, it is simply part of our process. If the dog you are interested in is adopted before you can meet them or if we do not currently have a dog you are interested in we still encourage you to go through the approval process. Then you will be pre-approved and ready to adopt when a dog does come along that you are interested in.
