We just call him “little man” since he can’t hear us anyway. Ludwag moves to the orchestra in his head and if you play along you can too. He’s a sweet little guy who gets along with everyone he meets. He’s shown a real love for kids as he’s all wiggles n kisses whenever he sees them out n about. He lives with 8 other dogs and has met several others since being in foster care and has gotten along with all of them. He was introduced to cats while at the shelter and gave no mind to them so should be OK to live with them.

Ludwag knows a few simple hand commands and is eager to learn more. He walks nicely on leash and has had pretty good recall in controlled areas. Ludwag will need a home that is ACD savvy and possibly deaf dog savvy as he is very focused and busy which can lead to trouble sometimes. He’s still a young dog and does puppy things which are mostly cute but stealing socks and bathroom tissue are not always as cute! He would do best in a home with another playful dog as he really loves to play with others and can get quite attached to his furfriends.

Ludwag is housebroken, crate trained and fully vetted. He is currently located in Flagstaff, AZ

The first step to meeting any of our dogs is to submit an application. It in no way obligates you to adopt, it is simply part of our process. If the dog you are interested in is adopted before you can meet them or if we do not currently have a dog you are interested in we still encourage you to go through the approval process. Then you will be pre-approved and ready to adopt when a dog does come along that you are interested in.
