Jax – 7 Month Old Male ACD/Hound Mix

Jax is a big boy with an equally big heart. This sweet young man wants nothing more than to snuggle or relax by your feet (well, more like, next to you on the couch). Jax’s sweet demeanor is second only to his big goofy personality. Once he warms up to his surroundings and situations, Jax is one big ball of happy. Jax doesn’t like to be lonely, so a family with other young dogs who will give him the time and space to get comfy or a home where his human either works at home or can take him to the office will suit him well (he did GREAT at his foster mom’s work one day).  Jax also knows a few hand signals like “go” and “sit” which he learned from his deaf brother.

Jax is housebroken, crate trained (needs a large crate), and is fully vetted. He is currently located near Payson (just 1 hour from Fountain Hills) and Flagstaff.

The first step to meeting any of our dogs is to submit an application. It in no way obligates you to adopt, it is simply part of our process. If the dog you are interested in is adopted before you can meet them or if we do not currently have a dog you are interested in we still encourage you to go through the approval process. Then you will be pre-approved and ready to adopt when a dog does come along that you are interested in.
