Gulliver’s world travels brought him to the doorstep of one of our volunteers. He was hopelessly lost, frightened, and alone so he laid down in the bushes just outside the front door and waited for a kind hand and a good meal. Well, he had unknowingly picked exactly the right place to rest. Our volunteer took him in and notified the local authorities, shelters and Vet offices of his whereabouts. Sadly, no one stepped forward to claim him as their own so he became a genuine foster dog and what a pup he is!

After some weeks of timidity he has blossomed into a sweet and loving pup. He travels well in the car and loves to sleep on his dog bed in the family room with his foster brothers. He is currently living with 3 other dogs in his foster home. He adores other dogs to play with inside and out.

Gulliver would do best in a home with at least one other pup to provide companionship and playtime with him. He is a very social boy and extremely respectful of his foster brothers. Now that he has had time to destress in his foster home he has found he loves his pets with his people. He will need a patient family willing to give him the time he needs to feel comfortable in a new place and then they will see him shine!

Gulliver is housebroken, crate trained and fully vetted. He is currently located in Rio Rico, AZ.

The first step to meeting any of our dogs is to submit an application. It in no way obligates you to adopt, it is simply part of our process. If the dog you are interested in is adopted before you can meet them or if we do not currently have a dog you are interested in we still encourage you to go through the approval process. Then you will be pre-approved and ready to adopt when a dog does come along that you are interested in.
