Edie and Alex Van Heelin’ are two foster pups who were runnin’ with the devil, down in southern Arizona, when Willcox Animal Control alerted ACDR. Although they were strays, Edie and Alex are robust, healthy, athletic little cattle dogs with great attitudes and a readiness to make the Jump! to their forever homes.

Edie Van Heelin’ – female, approximate birthdate 10-15-15. Edie is joyful pup who offers a nice balance of playfulness and lovingness. She adores all adults and children who have crossed her path. While in our care, she has not met cats or other animals. She is assertive in her interactions with the other dogs in her foster home, yet is nicely deferential to the older leaders. Edie will give the neighbor dogs an enthusiastic bark but will retreat nicely when called off. Edie is crate-trained and housebroken but has a mischievous, thieving side that may threaten your socks and shoes until she learns what is off-limits (or you learn to properly stash your shoes and socks…). Edie takes instruction easily and is eager for her people who will show her the way.

Edie is fostered in Scottsdale, AZ and will be available for adoption on March 12.

The first step to meeting any of our dogs is to submit an application. It in no way obligates you to adopt, it is simply part of our process. If the dog you are interested in is adopted before you can meet them or if we do not currently have a dog you are interested in we still encourage you to go through the approval process. Then you will be pre-approved and ready to adopt when a dog does come along that you are interested in. Apply atwww.arizonacattledogrescue.org
