Dutch is the cuddle captain of the country! He would glue his whole 35 lb self to your lap if you let him , but when told enough is enough he happily goes and lays down. Dutch is a totally mellow little dude, he likes chilling in the backyard looking for bugs and is great with his two foster dog siblings (leaves the older dog alone and plays beautifully with the 9 month old pup). Dutch doesn’t bark but he will sing you the song of his people in the form of whining when left alone. This is something he would need a little bit of work on but his foster mom has already seen great improvement! Dutch is an eager beaver as well and is willing to please and learn, though he will show you his stubborn heeler side too when he thinks you aren’t serious with your request. Dutch loves the great outdoors and has proven to be a great sidekick while hiking in northern Arizona. This sweet boy is looking for a family of his own and wants nothing more but to be spoiled rotten. Dutch would most likely do well with kids and I would even say he might tolerate cats too! He still acts like a puppy though sometimes and likes to rearrange your stinky flip flops and clothes.

Dutch is house broken, almost crate trained (little bit of whining), Dutch is currently located in Flagstaff, AZ.

The first step to meeting any of our dogs is to submit an application. It in no way obligates you to adopt, it is simply part of our process. If the dog you are interested in is adopted before you can meet them or if we do not currently have a dog you are interested in we still encourage you to go through the approval process. Then you will be pre-approved and ready to adopt when a dog does come along that you are interested in. Apply at www.arizonacattledogrescue.org
