Hi I’m Dorothy but I go by Dot! Just like the character I’m named after I’m very loving and want to be near my friends all the time! I hope you love cuddling as much as I do. I’m also trying very hard but still learning my manners, so I need someone who will be patient with me and help me learn. I’m mostly potty-trained, but sometimes still have accidents when I’m excited. I also don’t love my kennel too much, but I’m getting used to it more as my foster mom works with me. I’m very high energy and need someone who will keep up with me, otherwise I get into trouble. I have two foster doggy siblings who I love to play with, as well as some foster kitties that I’m a little annoying to. I don’t hurt them I’m just a little too curious and scare them (I’ve gotten better with them though, and listen when mom tells me to stop). I love kids and grown-ups alike, I just want someone to love and play with!

The first step to meeting any of our dogs is to submit an application. It in no way obligates you to adopt, it is simply part of our process. If the dog you are interested in is adopted before you can meet them or if we do not currently have a dog you are interested in we still encourage you to go through the approval process. Then you will be pre-approved and ready to adopt when a dog does come along that you are interested in.
