Dog Quixote is an exceptionally sweet and calm fellow. Discovered under a car at a gas station in Northern Arizona, truly he was born to be an example of misfortune. But his faint cowdog spots earned him a spot in ACDR’s heart and he is now able to turn his fortune. Quixote is available for adoption! While in foster care, Quixote has shown himself to be a loving companion to his people, and a fair and fun playmate to his dog friends. “I’m a peaceful, mild, and quiet man”, Quixote tells us. He has not met any cats in foster care. Quixote is crate-trained and working on his house training. 5-month-old Quixote explains, “Time ripens all things; no man is born wise.” Quixote’s foster home is in Scottsdale, AZ

The first step to meeting any of our dogs is to submit an application. It in no way obligates you to adopt, it is simply part of our process. If the dog you are interested in is adopted before you can meet them or if we do not currently have a dog you are interested in we still encourage you to go through the approval process. Then you will be pre-approved and ready to adopt when a dog does come along that you are interested in.
