Meet Coorah. This petite girl is all Australian Cattle Dog at heart. She is bright, sweet, alert, wants things under control and has no problem telling you when something is amiss. Coorah picks up new tasks quickly like a doggie door, loves to go for rides, gets along with all dogs (big & small) and she is eager and happy meeting new people. Coorah is an all around good companion and independent as well. She enjoys a closeness with you & a good belly rub for sure.

Coorah is a special needs girl in that she has a twitch. We suspect she is a distemper survivor or was born with this neurological issue. She bounces and twitches all the time, it’s as if she’s truly dancing to the soft beat of her own drum. She came to us this way and we have had several veterinarians check her out. She is a healthy and strong girl in ALL other areas and this does NOT affect her quality of life in any way! We have been told that she should live a long happy life with no further complications and she does not have any special medications or dietary needs. She’s just a girl with a bouncy personality.

So if you’re looking for love beyond measure from a special girl who is up for any adventure and you like rhythm and blues (she’s a blue heeler “ha!”) then Coorah’s the gal for you!

Coorah is house broken, crate trained and fully vetted. She is currently located in Mesa, AZ

The first step to meeting any of our dogs is to submit an application. It in no way obligates you to adopt, it is simply part of our process. If the dog you are interested in is adopted before you can meet them or if we do not currently have a dog you are interested in we still encourage you to go through the approval process. Then you will be pre-approved and ready to adopt when a dog does come along that you are interested in.
