Hello – Let me introduce myself. My name is Benita and true to it’s meaning – I am blessed. I had a few fears before rescue but all that is happily in the past. I now know and enjoy all the good things life has to offer. I am looking for a family who likes an active & athletic gal like myself. I can run like the wind, tear a stick into little sticks, and I come running when you call my name. I like all dogs and new people I meet, I have not met a cat – not sure what I think of them. Not fond of crates – would rather be with you but I am okay with walking in one on my own. I am 1.5-2 years old with a short tail and weigh in at ~40 #’s. I am a bit shy but love breaking out of my shell – patience is a good thing. Please, if I sound charming to you, let’s do meet & talk. Thank you, Benita

The first step to meeting any of our dogs is to submit an application. It in no way obligates you to adopt, it is simply part of our process. If the dog you are interested in is adopted before you can meet them or if we do not currently have a dog you are interested in we still encourage you to go through the approval process. Then you will be pre-approved and ready to adopt when a dog does come along that you are interested in.
