Bandit was taken out of a shelter with severe glaucoma. Our wonderful vet took care of the irreparable eyes, neuter and polished up his pearly whites.

He doesn’t have a mean bone in his stocky little body. He has lived with other dogs, and little kids. As he recovers, he is getting a little bossier and exuberant during play with other dogs. But has not been aggressive at all.

He loves everyone! He is the prime example of “blue glue” or “Velcro dog” Bandit will need a safe yard, and a home that is considerate of his needs (stairs gated etc.) until he maps your house, which they do fairly easily. His foster mom had an ACD with this exact issue and knows he can and will live a life as any other dog… Happily! He loves going for walks. But cuddling is his top priority. He cannot get enough!

His vet loved him so much, he took him home for 5 days. Unfortunately, his yard was just too dangerous for a blind dog to be unsupervised in.

Bandit is housebroken, crate trained and fully vetted. He is currently located in Carefree Az.

The first step to meeting any of our dogs is to submit an application. It in no way obligates you to adopt, it is simply part of our process. If the dog you are interested in is adopted before you can meet them or if we do not currently have a dog you are interested in we still encourage you to go through the approval process. Then you will be pre-approved and ready to adopt when a dog does come along that you are interested in.
