So, you say you want a lively new friend? Maybe a watch dog? A friendly girl that is all about kisses & is as cute as can be? Please meet Roxie. This little lady is an ACD mix, 25 lbs, has a short tail that wags all the time and is 10 months old. She has the personality of a Jack Russel Terrier in a petite red ACD body. She is great in a vehicle, calm when crated, loves toys and will play tug-a-war to keep what she wants. Roxie aka Rox is friendly & playful with other dogs to include 50 ponders. What she is not yet comfortable with – moving objects like loud cars, mail trucks, joggers chatting loudly. This bit of her personality is improving with redirection & positive reinforcement. Continued training would benefit her. She is a young work in progress. She will listen – when she wants to and is 80% house trained. If you enjoy a rather ‘at home’ type of lifestyle, she would be happy with you & be your hero! She is lively and quick. Roxie is currently fostered in Mesa AZ.
The first step to meeting any of our dogs is to submit an application. It in no way obligates you to adopt, it is simply part of our process. If the dog you are interested in is adopted before you can meet them or if we do not currently have a dog you are interested in we still encourage you to go through the approval process. Then you will be pre-approved and ready to adopt when a dog does come along that you are interested in.
