Oboe came to our rescue, as a stray after an accident.
The shelter sought a safe knowledgable foster home for her to recover in.
While her breed was a mystery, she was “Cattle dog enough” for us to jump at the opportunity to help her out.
She has healed up beautifully, and integrated very well into her foster home, enjoying the good life.
She is young. Likely less than 2 years.
She is a little girl, short in stature, with a longer body.
She gets along very well with her 3 foster siblings. She loves to play! Cats are unknown.
She can be suspicious of men, but once she knows them, she’s fine. Exposure to strangers has been limited due to Covid lockdown but the few neighbors and friends that have met her, she’s happy to see after they’ve been here a bit.
She loves to cuddle up on the couch or in bed with her humans. She loves her crate, and will put herself to bed every night.
Oboe is housebroken, crate trained and fully vetted. She is currently located in Carefree Az.

The first step to meeting any of our dogs is to submit an application. It in no way obligates you to adopt, it is simply part of our process. If the dog you are interested in is adopted before you can meet them or if we do not currently have a dog you are interested in we still encourage you to go through the approval process. Then you will be pre-approved and ready to adopt when a dog does come along that you are interested in.
