Baby Ruth- 2 Yr Old Female ACD/Aussie Mix

Say hello to Baby Ruth! She’s just as sweet as her namesake and ready for a furever home! Baby Ruth loves all people, kids and other dogs and is very loyal to her family. She’s a bit like Velcro around the house making sure her people don’t need help with anything but doesn’t get in the way and has great house manners. Baby Ruth is ready for a family with kids or other dogs and plays very well with them all.

Baby Ruth has a goofy and silly personality. She’s a bit clumsy, but that can be attributed to her limited sight ability. Her favorite things are car rides to the forest, park or anywhere her people are going, swimming, making new friends and cuddling.

Baby Ruth had a rough start in life prior to arriving at Arizona Cattle Dog Rescue. She was found as a small puppy who had been mauled by an unknown animal where she sustained several injuries. She was born with glaucoma and the injury to her right eye made it impossible to save. Her left eye requires long-term care with prescription eye drops due to a birth defect and glaucoma. Baby Ruth receives eye drops twice per day and has no issue with the quick process. She is not blind in the eye but has limited vision that in no way stops her from enjoying life as a normal dog.

Despite her disability, her spirit remains strong and she’s a very happy little girl! She is worth every bit of extra attention (she loves it too) and will make a great addition to any undiscriminating, active family.

Baby Ruth is housebroken, crate trained and fully vetted. She is currently located in Flagstaff, AZ

The first step to meeting any of our dogs is to submit an application. It in no way obligates you to adopt, it is simply part of our process. If the dog you are interested in is adopted before you can meet them or if we do not currently have a dog you are interested in we still encourage you to go through the approval process. Then you will be pre-approved and ready to adopt when a dog does come along that you are interested in.
