Edie and Alex Van Heelin’ are two foster pups who were runnin’ with the devil, down in southern Arizona, when Willcox Animal Control alerted ACDR. Although they were strays, Edie and Alex are robust, healthy, athletic little cattle dogs with great attitudes and a readiness to make the Jump! to their forever homes.

Alex Van Heelin’ – male, approximate birthday 10-15-15. Alex is a pleasant, easy-going boy who loves life. He plays nicely with his dog pals in the foster home, and loves all people that he has met – adults and children. While in ACDR foster care, he has not met cats or other animals. He’s a frisky guy, while being extremely mindful of the hierarchy that exists with other dogs in his foster home. At any point in the day, this guy is ready for a warm lap and some cuddles. He’s interested in the neighbor dogs, but more interested in your lap if you call him over. Alex is crate-trained and housebroken. However, Alex is interested in any errant socks and shoes he may encounter. He is so open to instruction and correction; Alex will be an easy puppy to train.

Alex is fostered in Scottsdale, AZ and will be available for adoption on March 12.

The first step to meeting any of our dogs is to submit an application. It in no way obligates you to adopt, it is simply part of our process. If the dog you are interested in is adopted before you can meet them or if we do not currently have a dog you are interested in we still encourage you to go through the approval process. Then you will be pre-approved and ready to adopt when a dog does come along that you are interested in. Apply atwww.arizonacattledogrescue.org
