Rio is quite the spectacular girl! She’s high energy and LOVES the water. Her favorite game is to chase the hose. Her foster mom reports that every time she goes outside she’ll bark at the hose so you’ll play the game.

Rio has a strong personality and will need a breed savvy home. She gets along well with other dogs but is too pushy with cats so we advise she not go to a home with kitties. She would do well with kids too as long as they were up for her energy level.

Rio would do best in a home where she would be able to get out on hikes, bike rides and of course swimming on a regular basis. She is not a dog for the faint of heart.

Rio is housebroken, crate trained and fully vetted. She is currently located in Buckeye, AZ.

    

 

The first step to meeting any of our dogs is to submit an application. It in no way obligates you to adopt, it is simply part of our process. If the dog you are interested in is adopted before you can meet them or if we do not currently have a dog you are interested in we still encourage you to go through the approval process. Then you will be pre-approved and ready to adopt when a dog does come along that you are interested in.
