Eve is blind due to losing her eyesight to glaucoma but is now healed and pain free. Eve navigates her surroundings very well, so well that you forget she’s blind. She is treated no differently than the other dogs in the household and she wouldn’t have it any other way.

Eve is a super sweet, smart and laid back kind of gal. She shares her foster home with 5 other dogs; male and female, big and small. She likes everyone she meets, adults and kids alike, although she hasn’t been around kids younger than 13. She hasn’t been around cats but we think she would do fine with a proper introduction. Everyone who meets Eve just loves her; she just has that sweet, loving personality that you can’t resist.

Eve loves to go for walks, be brushed, have her belly rubbed and just be loved on. She is crate trained but she hasn’t used her crate in months and prefers it that way. She’s proven herself to be an exceptionally well behaved girl that gets free reign of the house regardless if anyone is home or not.

Eve will need continual medical care to treat her Valley Fever. She is currently taking medications with her morning and evening meals and is doing well. Here new family will need to be committed to meeting her veterinary needs. Because her Valley Fever was left untreated for so long she may need to stay on treatment for the rest of her life.

Eve is housebroken, crate trained and is finished with her basic vetting needs. She is still taking daily medications for Valley fever and will need continued monitoring. She is currently located in Carefree, AZ

The first step to meeting any of our dogs is to submit an application. It in no way obligates you to adopt, it is simply part of our process. If the dog you are interested in is adopted before you can meet them or if we do not currently have a dog you are interested in we still encourage you to go through the approval process. Then you will be pre-approved and ready to adopt when a dog does come along that you are interested in. Apply through the applications page on this website.
