Tatum was found dragging her leash through a Paradise Valley community. Though she had the support of an entire neighborhood working tirelessly on her behalf to locate an owner, no one stepped forward to claim her. So, ACDR stepped up to help this girl find her way to a brighter future!

Tatum appears to be a Black Mouth Cur mix and is energetic and gregarious. She absolutely loves to swim and has been swimming laps 5-6x a day at her foster home.  She is demonstrative, loves to give kisses and snuggle and loves belly rubs. She enjoys snuggling with her people. She also knows some commands and takes her treats gently. She is a super energetic young lady and would make an excellent running, hiking, or camping buddy, and as long as water is involved, Tatum is all in!

She has been to training camp and her trainers absolutely adore her. ACDR is also offering her new, forever home, 10 free “get to know each other” lessons with the training facility, should the adopters’ wish to take Tatum further along her journey. Tatum is 55 pounds and is likely fully grown.

ACDR recommends a home with adults, and children who are 12 and older, based on Tatum’s size/strength. She’s incredibly sweet but doesn’t realize how big she is and could knock over little ones as she runs by.
